threeA Adventure Kartel Tracky Custard

image
Got my Tracky Custard couple of days ago. Thanx to my bro @hoq who help me to got this pooch on the sale day. Yeah, it was a surprise sale on one random day and wasn’t offered for a long time also.

Overall, it’s a very cool figure for sure, also so cute to see that hoodie covering all his eyes.
And as you all probably have already know, there are some differences on this new tracky version compared to the OG Custard (you can check the side by side pics below).
Those differences are:
– Different Custard! Yeah, this tracky version didn’t use the OG Custard’s body, it’s actually using one of the labs from the Circle of Lab set, and that is the “number 3”. And as far as I know, both the Shit Weather Custard and Snow Paw from the Hard Nipple War set also using this “number 3” body as their base body.
– The OG Custard has a darker skin tone (or should I say more creamy white), with no pattern or numbers etc. While the “number 3” Custard has a brighter white tone plus a black cow-like pattern on his body and of course the number “3” on his left-back side.
– Different pouch belt set. OG Custard comes with a stretch strap belt with pouches that consist of 1pc of big pouch and 2pcs of medium size pouch on each end. Both are buckled type pouches.
While on this tracky version, to tell the truth, for me it’s just like a regular/standard “Bleak’s belt” set-up (only without the gun holster), because IT REALLY IS a regular/standard Bleak’s belt set-up; regular adjustable belt strap, 2pcs of small short pouches and also 2pcs of single long vertical pouches.

Here are the side by side photos so you can check on the differences;

As for that reasons, I must say that this version is not like what I’ve been expected, so I made my own version, the REAL Tracky Custard at least for me.
First, I swapped the body with the OG Custard’s. After that I combine the pouch-set using the OG Custard’s basic set-up plus I added the 2pcs of small pouches from the new version on it.

So here you go, the “supposed to be” Tracky Custard 😀

And a couple of pics of him posing with Penumbra (that’s because I’m no longer own my tracky team) 😦

Coarse Jaws custom

I bet you’re already saw this piece from Coarse right? It’s from their exhibition. I took this images from their website.

image
image

It’s a really awesome piece! So from that very first time I saw it, I really hope that they’ll make that skeleton version someday, and still waiting till now.
Luckily, I was able to score the Jaws in a very good price and decided to customized it into that skeleton piece.

image
So all the parts already primed and repainted with white as the base color, next step is to manually paint every single bones of it. It’s gonna be fun!

Till then;

threeA Munich NTQ

Got some shots last weekend with my Munich NTQ. Like you’ve already know, she’s an exclusive piece from threeA along with BBICN for the ACG exhibition event in Guangzhou some months ago.

image
I must say that I like her instantly, great overall looks, new jacket(still never been offered again for other TQ even until now),a very cool “assassin” feel, and lots of other positive points from me.

To make her “assassin” looks more deathly, I gave her couple of additional pieces, the WWRp Bertie Dirty Deeds’s revolver(the scale really fit her perfectly), also a short katana from Oyaloper. And those two things really brought her to the top!!

So, enjoy some of the shots

F3-7T Astromech Droid custom

I guess most of you have already knew about this awesome customized Star Wars’s astromech droid made by Nick Scurfield.
It’s named as F3-7T Droid, yup it’s in boba fett’s color theme!

So I contacted him couple of moths ago(a very nice man), asked him to do a collaboration piece between me and his brilliant concept.
The idea is to make this F3-7T droid concept into toys. I’ll do the custom toy plus his artwork print, all in one package. In limited numbers.

But unfortunately the collaboration won’t be possible for this moment, hopefully we can still make this happen in some other time. Thank you for the opportunity my friend 😀

So here goes. It was customized from Hasbro‘s, all customized and hand painted by me. Hope you like it as much as the original concept idea.

threeA Tomorrow Kings Shadow and Light Shogun Set Review

image

This is the second Shogun TK set that I got, the Shadow and Light Shogun set. And just like any other “Shadow and Light” set, this set was a surprise drop exclusive on Shogun TKs drop sale day. Well actually, there were two surprises, this Shadow and Light set and a DIY “Geist” shogun. But for now I’m gonna talk about this Shadow and Light set first.

I think it’s not so hard to understand why this set named as Shadow and Light. Yup, ever since threeA made BlancoNegro, most people instantly love the simple looks of it. All-black and all-white TK duo with threeA logo printed on each of their shirt.

But the name Shadow and Light itself only happen when they announced the set as a 3D animation contest prize. And the first Shadow and Light set are using Kyoku-based set-up.

So, for this Shadow and Light Shogun, basically they’re just built from a regular Shogun set-up, only in all black & white color scheme and the iconic threeA logo shirt.
Because of that, I think I need to make some changes so they would look different from the regular Shogun. Finally I decided to switch the set-up side for the Shadow so they’ll look mirrored when they’re side by side.

image

Overall, this is a good set, but there’s something that’s quite bothers me, maybe because they’re not heavily weathered, the joints are easily loose, but everything else is great though.
Still happy to add them in my collections for sure.

Nikopicto X Mighty Jaxx Hug the Killer

image
I always wanted to have a Hug the Killer resin toy by Nikopicto X Mighty Jaxx, even almost bought the previously released, but still didn’t until this UKtoycon exclusive version was released.

Yes, this one is the exclusive version only for the UK toycon, and luckily my friend @snottytoys manage to grab me one, thanx man!

I really love the three-tone of blue-red-white color(UK’s flag color scheme), also the union flag details on it’s eyes.
As a 4″ resin piece, actually it has a really great quality. Very smooth surface, perfectly painted with a high gloss finish, definitely make this resin toy totally worth to collect.

Now I’m thinking to buy the GID version….. 😉

LighBLACK Keni Uno Review

As promised before, here’s some of my photos and a short and simple review of this figure. Enjoy

Illustration courtesy of LighBLACK and JP Toys from their blog
image
This figure based on an original design by LighBLACK that appears to be a comic character. Actually this is the second release of Keni Uno, the first one is called Keni Uno in the mirror, but unfortunately I didn’t have it, but thanks to my friend @wijayasantoso, he gave me some pics so I can compare between those two. You can found the comparisons in the bottom part of this review.
Besides Keni Uno, there will be other characters as well that already announced through their website. Please do check them out HERE

Let’s start from the packaging box. It’s a very simple design, 2 piece black-white opened upward box with a highlighted details makes it looks really good. The figure is safely placed inside with a foam paddings.
image

image
Now, for the figure itself, it’s a 1/6th scale figure, and I must say, he looks really cool! I think all the parts of this figure are specially designed because none of it’s parts are generic parts.
image
These are all accessories that came with the package:
– Keni Uno figure with a red scarf wraped on his neck(it has wires sewed in it, so you can bend and shape the scarf)
– His big square-shaped sword
– A small knife
– A chained loop strap for the knife
– A cut-off finger piece with blood puddle
– and A clear transparent mask

Like I said above, this is the second release version of Keni Uno. What makes it different compared with the first one( Keni Uno in the mirror )?
Actually there are some differences, and they are:
– Keni Uno in the mirror has a grayscale color details and darker, while the new one have more colors(dominantly red). +1 for the new Keni Uno.
– Keni Uno in the mirror has a less detailed belt, so a +1 for the new one Keni Uno.
– Different box design. Keni Uno in the mirror got an illustration on it’s box plus also came with a poster and a signed card by the artist, while the new one doesn’t. +1 for Keni Uno in the mirror for exclusivity value.
– Keni Uno in the mirror only came with his sword, that’s a really big minus compared to the new one which comes with lots of accessories inside. +1 for the new Keni Uno.
– Keni Uno in the mirror’s mask is colored(red with yellow dots pattern), while the new one is only clear transparent. It’s quite scary actually, but in a cool way. But I still give a +1 for Keni Uno in the mirror.
– For the cut-off finger details, Keni Uno in the mirror, it’s his left hand while on the new one, it’s his right hand. Equal points on this, what can I say? They’re mirrored.
– Keni Uno in the mirror came with an older version of hand and feet joints, in some cases, it breaks, especially if we’re forcing it for quite extreme dynamic poses, that’s why they sent a new joint replacement just like the one in the newer version. Definitely a +1 for the new Keni Uno.

That makes the scores are 4-2 for the new Keni Uno, but for me both of them are awesome and got their own uniqueness. It’s all up to you which one is better.

You can compare all the differences from this image below
(pictures provided by @wijayasantoso)

image

Overall, and as a conclusion from me, this new Keni Uno is definitely a super awesome figure, I really love the unique looks of it. But I’m still not quite sure about the durability of the parts, especially the joints on the body, somehow I always got the feeling it’ll crack or break. And they’re easily loose. Because of that, for now, I won’t push him too hard for extreme poses.

So, here goes;

threeA Tomorrow Kings Shogun “Holdout at Dumper” two pack Review

image
“There were only ten that ever walked with us, that each could hold an army at bay single handed. They say we will never see their kind again and each of the ten shelter silent wisdom cast from a memory of the end. These are the SHOGUN TK.”

Lately, I’ve been focusing my collecting on threeA‘s toys only for the TK(Tomorrow Kings) boys. And recently, they’ve already release their latest TKs in form of shoguns. I remember the first time I saw their prototypes, they’ve already had their slots on my collection shelfs.
A heavily armored TK with shoulder guard and a helmet plus a very big electrified sword, how cool is that?!

I’ll review all the shoguns I got(luckily I manage to score all the variants), but for now I will start with the first one I got and that is the Holdout at Dumper two pack, which contains 2 Shoguns named as Gorei and Tsuki
image

image

image
This Holdout at Dumper pack comes with a poster also with a short story about this 2 shoguns;

It was worth it they thought, to fight a universe for a cat and a guitar.

Dumper was a transitional planet, between the ground level universe and the underverse. The Tomorrow Kings had used it as a traditional base of operations for nearly 800 years, well until today. One Interloper was all it took, hidden in a troop movement via Dumper. It was always known this would occur, and plans were made.

The last two Shogun TK, Gorei and Tsuki, had always had the mission, they were born with the task of holding of a legion of Mortis for 37.3 seconds and all would be corrected.

The Mortis only had to stop a boy and his cat from going home, but they had to do it via Dumper.

For 29.8 seconds the last two Shogun held a line that saw not a single Mortis trooper pass, then an errant and un-expected thought of a long dead TK made Gorei falter, in an instant he knew he had lost his position, but he marveled at a feeling he had never been allowed, the feeling of loss was thrilling, a feeling for a universe, he thought, was worth it. 29.9 Tsuki pivoted to take the onslaught alone, 7.4 seconds and he could rest.

Lady Sham held the young boy’s hand tightly, and guided him across the silent road towards his house. Her grip tightened, not wanting to let her life walk away, she knew they would meet again, someday, but that didn’t make any difference now.

A white cat with black cow like markings darted in front of them, and barked. “Move it ya slapper they’ll all be here soon! “

image
Gorei is the orange detailed one and Tsuki is the greyish-black saturated one. Both of them got their own uniqueness, but if I have to choose between those two, I’ll pick Gorei, because of his bright color combination between orange and green . He would definitely give more fresh color along with my other TKs.

Each of them(and I believe that all the Shoguns does) comes with a quite lots of new stuffs:
– A two pack box with Ash’s sketch poster in it(the poster only came with two-packs set, but for single, they had Ash’s painting as the box art, wether it’s Gorei,Tsuki or Shiho).
– New head sculpt
– All of them are using the new slim type body(like all the rest of the latest TKs),
– New shirt with un-symmetrical sleeves
– Standard TK pants
– A front and back cloth pieces that tied with a knots on their hips.
– A super cool left shoulder guard armor
– A helmet with a mouth guard
– A very big electrical powered sword(because it has wires that connect to a small battery stored in one of the pouches on his belt) also with it’s sheath and straps
– and two left hands(grip and relax, so you can make him hold the sword two-handed or one-handed).
Oh, and they comes with lots of pouches on their belt.

image
In simple statement, they’re freakin’ cool straightly out of their box!

image
There are lots of opinions about this Shoguns, some people love them with their armors on, but some people also enjoy them in simple-slick looks with no armor and helmet like a common TK. Me, personally love them in a full armored looks, but sometimes it’s kinda hard to deal with, especially when you’re posing them, but you’ll get over it in one or two pose changes. I’ll post more action pose later on for sure.

So I think that’s my short and simple review on the set for now, all based from my point of views though, but I hope it’s good enough to be shared with you all.

Cheers;
